The problem

The most important signals in men's health are the ones nobody is capturing.

Wrist wearables read a single pulse point and call it health. But the signals that determine how long men live, and how well, come from across the body — and most of them are invisible to consumer technology today.

Men are under-measured. CoreFlux exists to correct that.

Why now

Three forces converged. None existed five years ago.

CoreFlux is not a thesis waiting for a market. The technology, the science, and the cultural permission to measure male physiology continuously have all arrived inside the same window — for the first time.

01

Sensor science matured

Flexible PCB tail sensors — the foundation of wash-durable apparel electronics — cleared laboratory validation only in the last 24 months. Embedding clinical-grade signal into garment pattern is now an engineering problem, not a research one.

02

Personalized AI became viable

Adaptive baseline modeling makes whole-body physiology interpretable per individual, not per population. Population averages hide the deviations that matter — and until recently, on-device personal baseline learning at this resolution was a research artifact.

03

Men's health is a category now

The FemTech expansion of 2015–2020 proved the playbook: serious, continuous physiological measurement for an under-measured population builds a durable category. Men ask for this data today. Five years ago they didn't.

How it works

One sensing ecosystem. Four body zones. One intelligence layer.

CoreFlux is not a device. It is a platform — a single Pod that moves between four garments, each engineered to capture the physiology of a specific body zone. The result is the first continuous, whole-body data stream built for men.

Defensibility

What the wrist can't see.

Oura, Whoop, and Apple Watch optimized the periphery — pulse, motion, oxygen at extremities. CoreFlux operates at a category they cannot reach without rebuilding from the ground up.

A · ANATOMICAL ACCESS

Where wrist sensors physically can't read.

A ring or watch reads one point. CoreFlux's Pod moves between four garments to capture signal across the chest, head, lower body, and feet — including reproductive and hormonal markers no consumer wearable measures.

B · APPAREL AS A PLATFORM

Smart textile, finally solved.

Smart-textile attempts have failed on washability and electronics lifecycle. CoreFlux decouples them: one durable Pod across many wash cycles, sensor garments worn and replaced like any other clothing.

C · BUILT FOR MEN

A category nobody has built.

Reproductive, hormonal, gait, and lower-body signals — captured continuously, in the form factor men already wear. No other consumer-grade platform exists in this space.

They operate at the periphery. We measure from the source.

Validation

Engineered in partnership with the institutions that define Nordic medtech.

CoreFlux is being co-developed with VTT, the Technical Research Centre of Finland, using flexible PCB tail sensor technology validated at laboratory scale. Manufacturing and productization are being scoped with Haltian, the team behind Oura Ring. Clinical validation pathways have been established with Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) through our VTT relationship.

The technology behind continuous male physiology.

A deeper look at the sensor architecture, validation pathway, and clinical strategy. Full technical brief in preparation — these are the sections that will ship.

  1. 01
    Hardware

    Sensor architecture

CoreFlux is built around a single hardware primitive: a flexible PCB tail sensor that can be embedded into a textile pattern without compromising garment fit, drape, or wash durability.

    • Multi-modal integration. A single sensor lane carries thermal, optical, electrical, and motion channels — four modalities, one routing.
    • Snap-on Pod. Expensive electronics live in a magnetic Pod that detaches for charging and re-attaches across four garment types. Sensor garments are washable; the Pod is durable.
    • Anatomically anchored zones. Each garment is engineered to a specific body region — head, chest, lower body, feet — with sensor placement validated against anatomical landmarks rather than convenience.

The fundamental smart-textile problem is not sensors. It is washability and electronics lifecycle. CoreFlux solves it by separating the two.

  2. 02
    Software

    Signal processing & CoreFlux AI

Raw signal is not the product. Interpretation is. CoreFlux AI translates multi-zone physiology into a personal baseline a clinician would recognize.

    • 7-day calibration. The first week establishes an individual baseline across all measured signals — not a population average.
    • Deviation surfacing. The model flags meaningful departures from that baseline rather than dumping raw streams to the user.
    • Synthesis, not data quantity. CoreFlux AI's advantage comes from access to signals nobody else captures — not from a larger model. Whoever owns the source owns the interpretation layer.

A general health AI can be trained anywhere. A model trained on continuous male physiology from four anatomical zones cannot.

  4. 04
    Defensibility

    Three-layer IP moat

Defensibility is not a single patent. It is a stack of structural advantages that compound.

    • Hardware IP. Magnetic Pod-to-textile interface, anatomical sensor configurations, and integration of thermal sensing into flexible textile substrates. First patent application establishing priority is filed alongside the VTT POC output.
    • Software IP. The CoreFlux Fusion Model is held as trade secret first — the value compounds with proprietary signal access, not the algorithm itself.
    • Brand IP. CoreFlux is in active trademark filing across PRH (Finland) and EUIPO (Europe).

Anatomical access is its own moat: a wrist sensor cannot read scrotal thermal load or pelvic-floor EMG, ever — by physics.

  5. 05
    Privacy

    Data & privacy posture

Continuous male physiology — reproductive signal especially — is among the most sensitive data a person can generate. The architecture reflects that.

    • EU-jurisdiction by default. CoreFlux Health Oy is a Finnish entity. User data is stored within EU jurisdiction; no cross-border transfer without explicit consent.
    • On-device baseline. Personal baseline learning runs locally on the Pod where viable. Cloud is used for cohort-level analytics and model updates, not raw signal storage.
    • GDPR by design. Right to access, port, and delete are first-class operations — not retrofits.
    • No third-party data sales. The business model is subscription, not data brokerage. This is a structural commitment, written into the product, not a marketing line.
  6. 06
    Regulatory

    Standards & regulatory pathway

CoreFlux ships in two regulatory phases: wellness positioning first, medical certification second.

    • Phase 1 · Wellness. Initial product enters market under wellness positioning. No medical claims; clinical-grade signal exposed as physiological insight.
    • Phase 2 · CE Class IIa MDR. Clinical evaluation pathway initiated through HUS during the seed phase. Full certification is a Series A deliverable, not a seed promise.
    • ISO 13485 roadmap. Quality management system scoped with Haltian during the productization phase.
    • FDA pathway. US market entry follows EU MDR — sequence locked, not parallel.

Regulatory honesty: a startup claiming “FDA-cleared” in 24 months with hardware not yet manufactured is a startup to be skeptical of. We sequence the work.

02

How we operate

Four principles. Each is a constraint, not a slogan — they determine what gets shipped and what gets cut.

  1. P.01

    Engineering rigor before commercial speed.

We pursue clinical-grade signal first. Market velocity follows. A platform built on shaky physiology compounds risk; one built on validated signal compounds trust.

  2. P.02

    Clinical-grade evidence in every release.

Even pre-MDR. The product ships in wellness positioning, but every signal we surface is validated against clinical reference ranges. We will not ship insight we cannot defend in front of a clinician.

  3. P.03

    European data sovereignty by architecture.

Not a policy line — an architectural decision. EU jurisdiction, on-device baseline learning, no third-party data sales. Built into the system before any commercial pressure can erode it.

  4. P.04

Lean by design — capital builds the core.

The seed round funds technology, not overhead. VTT and Haltian partnerships replace the in-house engineering team this stage would normally require. Every euro is accountable to the core.

Privacy posture.

Continuous male physiology is among the most sensitive data a person generates. The architecture reflects that. Below is what we collect, what we don't, and how it is held.

  1. 01
    Website data

    What this website collects

This site is intentionally lean. We collect only the data you explicitly provide through the contact form — name, email, company, inquiry type, and your message.

    • No third-party trackers. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn tag, no advertising cookies.
    • No cross-site profiling. Browsing this site does not feed any external profile.
    • Privacy-respecting analytics, when added. If we add analytics, it will be a cookieless solution (Plausible or Fathom). You will see a banner and can opt out before any signal is captured.

This page exists because we built the privacy posture before we built the analytics. Not the other way around.

  2. 02
    Storage & jurisdiction

    Where your data lives

All inquiry data is held within European Union jurisdiction. No cross-border transfer occurs without explicit consent.

    • Contact form submissions are processed via Web3Forms (EU-based processor) and forwarded to contact@coreflux.health.
    • Email correspondence is hosted within EU jurisdiction with end-to-end TLS in transit.
    • No data sales. Third-party sharing is structurally not part of our business model — not a policy decision that could be reversed under commercial pressure.
  3. 03
    Your rights (GDPR)

Rights, retention, and how to act on them

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, port, correct, and delete your personal data. We honor these requests within 30 days.

    • Right to access. Request a copy of what we hold about you.
    • Right to deletion. Request removal from our records.
    • Right to portability. Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
    • Retention. Inquiry data is retained for up to 36 months from last interaction unless you request earlier deletion.

To exercise any right, email contact@coreflux.health with subject “GDPR request · [your name].” Response within one business day.

  4. 04
    Product data (future)

    Product privacy commitments

The CoreFlux platform is in pre-product stage. When it ships, the architecture will follow the principles below.

    • On-device baseline learning. Personal baseline runs on the Pod where viable. Cloud is used for cohort analytics and model updates, not raw signal storage.
    • User-owned data model. Export, delete, and revoke access are first-class operations — not retrofits.
    • EU jurisdiction by default. Data residency is an architectural decision, not a policy line.
    • No advertising surface. Personal physiology data is not used to target advertising — not for CoreFlux, not for partners, not ever.
